History

Born Victor Zsasz Jr., Vic Sage was the son of later serial killer, Mr. Zsasz. He was put up for adoption by his mother (to protect him from his violent father) and was raised in an orphanage. He later became a TV reporter who never let anyone stop him from expressing his views. He used a gas and special mask to transform into a vigilante named the Question who would stop criminals. He later developed lung cancer and started training Renee Montoya to become his successor once he died. He apparently died of lung cancer, but it was later revealed that his supposedly dead body had been found by a strange group of men called the Elygra who cured his cancer. Soon he replaced Montoya as the Question again, but had lost his identity as his soul had been joined with that of one of the original trinity of sin. He later discovered his identity and returned to TV reporting.

Joker Inc.

Leo Redlodge came to ask Vic to help him find The Maze, but found Vic to be too cryptic to work with. Later Beehive told Vic that Redlodge was a terrorist intent on killing him. Vic scoffed at this, but when he and Redlodge attended a party and Redlodge started acting weird, Vic transformed into the Question and tackled him. Redlodge said he was trying to stop an assassin which he pointed out, Question released him, but in the end Redlodge ended up accidentally "killing Beehive". Redlodge became a fugitive and Vic "followed" him, making remarks such as "you can't outrun that car." or "that plan won't work". He eventually agreed to help Redlodge clear his name by catching the terrorist.
