==During one of her stays in prison and during common chore with men's prison, Catwoman recognized Catman among teammates.

She wasn't amused when the latter copied her style years ago and she then helped Batman to put him in jail. But she latter couldn't help stealing the late Martha Wayne's necklace (in fact, she couldn't help stealing anything). A quite angry Batman send her in jail as well and resumed definitely their love-hate relationship.

Plus, Selina noticed that Batman new involvement in Justice League would lead him to met new people, particularly girls-and having suspicions about his secret identity, she was aware what Bruce Wayne's wedding with Diana Prince meant, a few years later.

So Selina, which still needed men's contact, had a one night stand with Catman. Which leaded to Felix's birth. She did not used this for reducing her sentence, because she knew her sticky fingers would sent her back not until long.

Until the Dark Age, Selina was freed, and returned to crime as well. Her son soon learned her abilities in thievery.==

-Usually, Catwoman's children are daughters, always named

Helena and whose father is either Batman (on Earth-2, and she's The Huntress 's prototype), or in main continuity with her boyfriend Sam Bradley, Jr, detective. (Until Zatanna rebooted the existence of this other Helena).

-Catman has son also named Thomas (quickly abandoned) but the mother was Cheshire, a traditional love interest of Speedy/Arsenal. Apparently his existence is based on the pun "Cheshire Cat".

-An affair with Catman is a new concept except perhaps in "The brave and the bold: the video game", but in, Catwoman turn him down.

-Felix have Catman's insignia on his tee.

-His father is traditionally bisexual, but it does not prevent him to have kids.

-Felix is inspired visually from French super hero Adrien/Cat Noir.

-Felix dates Felindra, Black Cat's daughter. Not only they're birds of the same feather but they know dating heroes end badly.
