History
Anubis is the son of Osiris and Nephthys. He was however abandoned by Nephthys for fear of Seth. Osiris' wife, Isis, raised him when she found out about Osiris' and Nephthys' romance. Soon, he took the name of Anubis and became the god of death and funerals, which made him the most important death god. However, he was soon dethronized by his own father who became the next god of death. Anubis, blinded by his anger, attacked Osiris, which brought another gods' fury on himself. Ammon-Ra tried to kill him, but Anubis ran away, not allowing the God of Sun to take back Anubis' powers.
